This day could not get any better....:0) I just got off the phone with Gina.... What a sweetie......:0)

And I got my GinaK. order today as well... I got the 10 stamps she was giving away for coming to the opening party at SCS, along with Sandy claws, Way to go, Thanks for your support and the other free ones Punchy words... And two bottle of Stickels....:0)

BTW, I am getting Set A of the markers....:0)


If I could spin around I would...hehehehe The neck has to heal all the way first then I might have to...

I bought "Way to go" to make my holiday cards for my clients... I wonder if I can write those stamps off... Stacy, do you think I can??? hehehehe

Okay, on the mend...

Just to clear a few things up... It was mostly the family time that I missed on Turkey day not really the food.... All the goodies to me is the whole sha-bang, meaning family, fun, food and games... I really miss that together time.... I love my family and am thankful for everyone in it...
I guess that everyone had a great time at both house's while I lay hold up on my sofa in the the worst pain of my life... I just wish that DH and I could have been a apart of it, I truly love family time... :0)

DH and I have been married for 14+ year and we have no kids so, when given the chance to be at either my sisters or, my SIL I jump at the chance... My sister has two great girls that I love a ton and I know that there uncle feels the same way...:0)

My one SIL has two girls and the other has the the sweetest little dog.... Sssshhh do not tell her I called him a dog or, I will be in the dog house...LOL

I had hurt my muscles in my neck on Sunday and by Wednesday night I was in the worst shape ever.... Thursday morning 4 A.M. at the hospital they gave me a shot and we waited a half hour and then they came in to check on me and gave me a second shot... Waited a bit and then they sent me home with more med's to take... I sat on the sofa all day while DH worked... Yes, he had to.... I will leave it at that, those of you whom really know me know what he does for a living and why he would be working.... I do not talk about his work on-line for a reason...
He came home and tried his hardest to take great care of me but, I hurt to much and all I did was cry and whine I am sure.... He gave up his side of the bed Thursday and Friday nights to me because i could not get out of the bed on my side it hurt way to much and I felt like a turtle stuck on my shell....LOL By Saturday night I could sleep on my side of the bed...

I went to work today for three hours and I just got home a bit ago... I have been off line for days now and need to go catch up on my blog reading and all the web sites I read as well...


I great BIG THANK YOU, to all of you whom have left me message's and E-mailed me you are the best....

No turkey day fun!

I woke my DH at 4 a.m. on turkey day to take me to the E.R. after being up almost all night in pain... I spent a few hours at the E.R. and two shots and then they sent me home to rest... They are not sure what I did but, my neck is in the worst pain ever... DH dropped me home and then off to work he went... He came home and I was still in the worst pain I have ever felt... It is the nerves and muscle that are hurt not in the disk... I am just up for a few min. and then back to bed... I am not dead but, almost wish that someone would take me out back and shot .......

No, turkey day goodies...:0( We had been asked to SIL's and sisters and I could not make it to either ones... I lay there crying and if I could have rolled into a ball I would have...:0( This has to have been the worst Turkey day ever for me... I told DH to go and he said nope and stayed home and made me hamburger helper.... God love him he tried...

I have to tell you one more funny... Maybe, it really is me... We have these friends and many moons ago we went out with them one night and she was very prego's for the first time.... I said so, this is your last weekend and one last hurrah as just a couple... To which she told me no that they had two more weeks to go, and they still did not know the sex of the baby at this time and did not want to know...

I woke up on Monday morning looked at DH and said I dreamed that they have the baby today and he comes to work at the lunch picnic and tells you all it a boy... DH was like that's nice dear (in that blow you off sorta way).... Well, I was not to far off.... They had the baby that very day and he called to tell everyone it was a BOY! right after the picnic... A few years later I told DH when they where preger's again that she was going to have another boy.... They where waiting to find out once again.... It was another BOY!....


My sister was prego and they said it's a boy for a long time before they knew, and I said no it's not, it's a girl right from the start.... And she is the sweetie that is sick....

I guess I better not say things out loud any more...hehehehe ;0)

I went to work today...

And my sister house just happen to be the house I was at, well her little sweetie is not feeling so well... I normal will not stay if the people are sick I run as fast as I can but, seeing as how this is family it is not the same... My sister had to run to town and left me with said sweetheart and it was not that bad to play auntie and clean house at the same time... Poor little thing had it bad at both ends...:0(

On the brighter side I told my sister when she got back I would put the card I made not to long ago for said sweetie for the next time she was not feeling to well in the mail for the next day... LOL My sister then laughs and says "Oh great you made her sick"... I told her that was not funny but, I did laugh...

Reason for it not being funny is I told DH one time that so and so was dead and he said no they are not (I was wrong)... And I'll be danged if they did not die not to long after that, and he told me that it was my fault jokingly... And again this happened one other time and I am no longer allowed to say that someone died...

And now I can not say that I made a card for someone for the next time they are sick either...LOL

As many of you well know my little brother is in Holland right now and is in the A.F.... I too miss him every minute that he is away and wish him well and a safe return...

You may not know my D.H. was in the Navy as well as his older brother... Thank you both...:0) His family comes from a long line of military service, either being in one branch of the service or, more... The boys are the great nephew's of Vice Admiral Mitscher, the one with an air field and a destroyer named after him and long ago a frigate in WWII...

Yes, that's right, right where top gun was filmed at Miramar the air field is Mitscher Field...

I too have had other family members in the military and thank them for there sacrifice's...

Thank you, to all of you whom are serving have served or, have someone serving this great country we live in... My heart is with you and your's today.... Make sure and thank your hero's.... I know I will be...:0)

You just got to know how kind people are that are out there in this world with you... And some days I think man people have got to change and be nicer to each other... Then other days like this one and you just know that there are still some really good people in this world....
Sandy, is one of those people... No, really she is.... If you have never been to Sandy's Blog I say go and see what she has been up to... It's a Colourful World Sandy, has been collecting and distributing cards to our troops to send back home to there families... As you all know local drugstores and card shops are not over in the middle east for our troops to stop in and pick up greetings to send back home...
And some days getting that letter from your solider is really what you need... I have a brother that is in the A.F. and he has been to Iraq, Turkey and is now in Holland.... I tell you what I miss him and wish him safe every day....:0)

I really was not feeling that card I posted the other day so, after some sleep...LOL I made it around 2 A.M., this is what I came up with and I am much happier now.... I added a bit of ribbon and a touch of yellow Prismacolor to it around the stamped image.... I really wish you could she this it has Stickles around the dandelion as well as around the scalloped edge...TFL

Two first for me this week...

First one was I got a Sty on my eyelid, woke up at 3 a.m. knowing my eye was hurting.... It really was no laughing matter that thing hurts like H&#*.... I called my doctor and she could not get me in she sent me to urgent care.... First off I hate that place.... They almost left us in the room one night as they where locking up, they found us because they had to turn off the lights in the room we where in.... I went as soon as they opened so, I would not have to wait all day because, of my eye issues the doctor at urgent care sent me to my eye doctor... I have AIBSE Acute Idiopathic Blind Spot Syndrome Enlargement what this means is they have no idea why I have a really larger than normal blind spot in my one eye... It is really big, I bet you had know idea that I was partially blind...hehehehe The thing is the blind spot is in the other eye and once the eye doctor looked at it (sty) and gave me something for it I could not see to drive all that well... So, no work today...:0) Sorry, SIS it was my sisters day for cleaning I am a housekeeper...

Okay, now for the second first... I was online last night trying my hardest to read and play along with the Gina K. opening party at SCS... I made my first upload there for the Gina K. sketch contest... The card needs something? Maybe a thin ribbon horizontally... TFL
