We woke up to find our sweet old kitty cat had passed on yesterday... Her name was Tiburon an it does mean shark... It was a name that fit well she would just hop up on you an bite you...LOL This she grew out as she got older she would only bite you if she really wanted your full attention the last few years...
She was a black and white bundle of fur, most days that liked to lay on the sofa, my pillow and the top of the drier while it was running... I even once found her sleeping inside the washer...LOL After that day I kept the washer lid down for fear that I would toss things in on her with out looking and start that silly thing...
She loved to go out back and sit in the yard, she was an indoor cat my beloved and I kept her on a leash when we took her out the first few dozen times and then after that she was free to roam the yard... A few times she got out and we went looking for her and she would be under the back yard shed I do not think she was all that brave when we did not go out with her...:0) She also liked to go out front to lay on the porch while I worked in the flowers...
My beloved is the real cat person and will truly miss her, she was his last cat... I learned my love for the cats from him and he learned from his mom and grandmother they had a passion for pets...
In the first years of our marriage we had 10 cats or more... they where outside cat for the most part... We lived outside the city and people would just dump cats off... We started catching them and having them fixed so we did not end up with any more... some we found homes for and other found homes with us and then a few found that the fast road was not so forgiving...
Tibby loved to lay under the Christmas tree on the skirt, hide in paper bags, sleep in any cardboard box you brought home, play with the dog and get under the covers with you to sleep... She had to lick the bowl after you had ice cream she even liked to lick ice cream off the stick if you had an ice cream bar... I called her bunny fur because she was so very soft I even told her a time or twenty two to stop sleeping on my pillow or she would become the potty room rug because she was so soft and would feel grand under my feet LOL I never would have but, the thought was to funny....
We will miss you are sweet little bunny fur....

Sniffle...sniffle..........Flexie, my heart goes out to you.
Your cat reminds me of mine. Indy leaps out and bites me on the leg. He does not do that to anyone else but me. Don says that they are "love bites"....I call them "love chunks".
In my thoughts.....
So sorry girl. Our pets are family. Thanks for sharing all the memories though.
